Description

The Luxeon is a magnetic track spotlight with a 12W integrated LED delivering 4000K neutral white light through a cylindrical black aluminium head. The spotlight clips onto a compatible magnetic track system (sold separately) using integrated magnets inside the mounting plate, allowing the head to be repositioned along the track without tools or visible fixings once the track is installed.

Designed for commercial and residential spaces where lighting needs to be adjusted regularly — retail displays, gallery walls, adjustable task lighting in offices, or home workspaces — the magnetic system offers positioning flexibility without the complexity of fixed track heads. The 190mm head length and 40mm projection from the track give a compact profile that works on standard ceiling heights without dominating the sightline. The neutral 4000K colour temperature provides clarity for detail work, product displays and spaces where colour accuracy matters more than warmth.

The extruded aluminium body is finished in a matt black powder coat that minimises reflections under shop or office lighting. The head rotates through approximately 350° horizontally and tilts vertically to direct the beam onto specific zones. The IP20 rating confines the spotlight to dry indoor environments — it is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use. The 12W LED is non-dimmable and runs directly from mains voltage through the track, so no separate driver is needed for each head.

Is the track included with the spotlight?

No. The Luxeon spotlight is sold as a head only. It requires a separate magnetic track system compatible with Ideal Lux magnetic spotlights. Track sections, connectors and power feeds are sold separately.

Can the spotlight be repositioned once installed?

Yes. The head attaches to the track using integrated magnets, so it can be slid along the track and repositioned without tools. The electrical connection is made continuously along the track length, meaning the spotlight remains powered wherever it sits on the track.

Is the LED dimmable?

No. The integrated 12W LED is not dimmable and runs at full output when switched on. If dimming is required, a different model or track system with dimming capability would be needed.

What is the beam angle and lumen output?
