Description

The Luxeon 150W is a constant voltage LED driver that converts mains 230V AC to 48V DC output, supplying stable power to LED strip lights, modules and track lighting systems that operate on 48V. The driver uses magnetic mounting feet at each end for secure attachment to metal surfaces or ceiling voids, and includes a 2-metre output cable for connecting to LED loads.

Designed for indoor commercial and residential installations, the driver suits larger LED projects requiring up to 150W of continuous power — equivalent to approximately 30 metres of high-output 48V LED strip at 5W per metre, or 15 metres at 10W per metre. The IP20 rating provides protection against dust ingress, making it suitable for ceiling voids, cupboards, false ceilings and control rooms where the driver will not be exposed to moisture.

The 268mm length and 16mm projection allow the driver to fit into shallow ceiling voids and confined spaces where bulkier drivers would not sit. The magnetic feet eliminate the need for screws or adhesive during installation — the driver simply clips onto any ferrous metal surface, or can be secured with cable ties or brackets where non-magnetic mounting is required. The black ABS housing dissipates heat passively without requiring forced ventilation.

This driver is non-dimmable and designed for constant-output applications where the LED installation remains at full brightness during operation. The 48V output is common in commercial track lighting, architectural accent lighting and high-output LED strip installations where higher voltage reduces current draw and cable losses over longer runs compared to 12V or 24V systems.
