Description

The Lux is a 130mm x 230mm wall light built around a polished chrome triangular frame with a textured glass shade at the centre and an integrated on/off switch on the back plate. The glass shade combines frosted and clear sections in an irregular, carved form that diffuses light from a single G9 bulb (sold separately) while adding visual texture to the wall. The 190mm projection keeps the fitting clear of furniture and bedside tables.

Designed for bedside positions, hallways, reading corners and anywhere a switched wall light is needed without a separate pull cord or wall switch, the Lux provides direct control at the fitting itself. The compact footprint suits narrow hallways and bedrooms where larger wall lights would overpower the space. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with modern, contemporary and transitional interiors that use metallic accents.

The triangular frame gives the fitting a geometric profile that stands out against flat walls, while the carved glass shade softens the hard lines of the metal. At 1kg, the fitting is light enough to mount onto plasterboard with appropriate fixings, though masonry walls provide a more secure fixing point. The G9 socket accepts LED, halogen or capsule bulbs up to the wattage specified in the table below, giving flexibility to adjust brightness and colour temperature to suit the room.

At 1kg the fitting is light enough to mount on plasterboard using appropriate cavity fixings (spring toggles or metal cavity anchors). Masonry walls with rawl plugs provide a more secure fixing, particularly in high-traffic areas like hallways.
