Description

The Lund is a telescopic outdoor lamp post in galvanised steel with a black powder-coated finish, adjustable in height from 1700mm to 2300mm. A single E27 fitting sits under a shallow cone shade with clear glass diffuser, directing light downwards along driveways, garden paths and property boundaries. The post is rated IP55 for protection against dust and low-pressure water jets from any direction.

Designed for front gardens, driveways and pathway lighting, the telescopic post allows the height to be set during installation to clear low hedges or to sit flush with fence lines. The 450mm horizontal projection of the lamp head places the light source away from the post itself, reducing shadow and improving spread across paving or gravel surfaces. The circular base mounts onto a concrete foundation or paving slab and conceals the cable entry point.

The galvanised steel construction gives corrosion resistance in coastal and wet climates without the coating flaking typical of mild steel posts. How is the height adjusted?

The post is telescopic, allowing the height to be set anywhere between 1700mm and 2300mm during installation. Once set and fixed, the height remains constant.

The Lund takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose a warm-white LED bulb between 8-12W and 2700K-3000K for pathway and driveway lighting.

Can it be used in coastal locations?

Yes. The galvanised steel construction resists corrosion in coastal environments and the 5-year guarantee carries no coastal exclusion.

What foundation is needed?

The circular base requires a concrete pad or paving slab foundation. The cable entry is concealed beneath the base plate. Electrical installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician in compliance with BS 7671.
