Description

The Lunar is a 450mm outdoor wall light cast from die-cast aluminium in a brown powder-coat finish, with two satin-finished Pyrex glass diffusers delivering up and down light distribution. Each diffuser houses a single E27 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately), creating a balanced wash of light above and below the fixture on external walls.

Designed for residential porch lighting, commercial building entrances, courtyard walls and covered outdoor seating areas, the Lunar pairs IP55 weatherproofing with low-glare diffusion. The IP55 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions under eaves or in sheltered alcoves where rain can reach at an angle. The 80mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall without dominating the facade.

The brown finish provides a warmer alternative to black or graphite for period properties, terracotta render, and timber-clad buildings where a bronze or earth tone integrates better than stark metallics. The Pyrex glass diffusers are heat-resistant and durable under temperature fluctuation, allowing use with halogen, LED or filament E27 bulbs up to the rated wattage. The dual-diffuser configuration means the fixture casts soft ambient light both upwards (washing the wall or soffit above) and downwards (illuminating the ground or steps below), avoiding a harsh single-direction beam.
