Description

The LumiLife outdoor spotlight fitting is a fire-rated recessed downlight housing with an IP65-rated front face, a GU10 lampholder and a quick-connect terminal block. The die-cast aluminium body and clear toughened glass lens provide weather protection for outdoor soffit installations, covered porches and bathroom zones 1-3. The chrome-finished bezel sits flush with the ceiling once installed.

Designed for outdoor and wet-zone installations, the fitting is certified to 30, 60 and 90 minute fire ratings and meets Acoustic Part E building regulations, making it suitable for use in downstairs ceilings below occupied rooms. The 72mm cut-out fits standard joist spacing and the quick-connect terminal removes the need for a separate junction box, shortening installation time where mains cables are run to each fitting individually.

The die-cast aluminium construction handles outdoor temperature variation and UV exposure without warping or discolouring. The GU10 lampholder accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 65W (bulb sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or low-energy options depending on light output and running cost preference. The IP65 front rating means the fitting is protected against water jets from any direction, so it can be installed in soffit positions exposed to rain.

Does it come with a bulb?

No. The fitting ships with the GU10 lampholder only. You will need to purchase a GU10 bulb separately, up to a maximum of 65W. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 for outdoor use.

What does fire-rated mean?
