Description

The LumiLife 600x600mm LED backlit panel light delivers 3800 lumens from an integrated 36W LED in a frameless white panel measuring 595 x 595mm with a 27mm profile. The panel produces 4000K cool white light at 106 lumens per watt, with a UGR<22 glare rating that makes it suitable for VDU workstations and extended-use environments. The 120° beam angle provides uniform wash illumination across the panel surface.

Designed as direct replacement for 600x600mm modular ceiling grids commonly found in offices, schools, hospitals and retail spaces, the panel fits standard suspended ceiling systems with drop-in installation or can be surface-mounted using the optional kit. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only — this is a Zone 3 product unsuitable for bathrooms or wet areas. Dimming is supported via 0-10V, DALI and mains-dimmable protocols depending on the driver fitted.

The backlit construction places the LED array behind a diffuser panel rather than edge-mounting it, which spreads light more evenly across the surface and reduces visible hotspotting compared to edge-lit designs. The flicker-free driver maintains stable output without the high-frequency flicker associated with some cheaper LED panels, reducing eye strain during prolonged use. At 50,000-hour rated life and a power factor of 0.9, the panel is designed for commercial environments where long service intervals and low running costs matter. CRI >80 ensures colour accuracy for product displays, artwork and detailed work.

How is the panel installed in a suspended ceiling?

The 595 x 595mm panel drops into standard 600 x 600mm modular ceiling grids used in most commercial suspended ceiling systems. For surface mounting or recessed installation in plasterboard, optional mounting kits are available separately.

What does UGR<22 mean?

UGR (Unified Glare Rating) measures discomfort glare. A rating below 22 is required for office VDU workstations under UK workplace lighting standards, meaning this panel produces minimal glare during extended screen-based work.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating and Zone 3 designation restrict use to dry indoor locations only. For bathrooms you need a minimum IP44 or IP65 rated panel depending on the zone.
