Description

The Lumara is a 700mm LED bar wall light with an integrated 12.5W 3000K LED behind an opal acrylic diffuser. The fitting is built from powder-coated aluminium with a white finish and measures just 15mm in height with a 70mm projection from the wall, making it suitable for corridors, staircases, and feature walls where a low-profile fitting is needed.

Designed for interior use with an IP20 rating, the Lumara provides indirect wash lighting up and down the wall rather than projecting forward into the room. This makes it useful for hallway accent lighting, bathroom mirror surrounds (in zone 3 or outside zones), and bedroom headboard lighting where the goal is ambient rather than task illumination. The 3000K colour temperature gives a warm white light that suits residential interiors and hospitality settings.

The opal acrylic diffuser spreads the light evenly along the 700mm length without visible LED hotspots, and the white powder-coated aluminium body blends into white or light-coloured walls. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to over 10 years at typical residential use patterns. The fitting requires mains voltage wiring (230V) and is not dimmable.

Can the Lumara be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means it is suitable for zone 3 (600mm+ from the bath or shower) or outside bathroom zones entirely. It cannot be used in zones 0, 1 or 2 where direct water contact or splashing is likely.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated and non-replaceable. However, it is rated for approximately 30,000 hours, which equates to over 10 years of typical residential use before any degradation in output.

Does the light project forward or wash the wall?

The Lumara provides indirect up-and-down wash lighting along the wall rather than projecting light forward into the room. This makes it suitable for accent and ambient lighting rather than task lighting.

Is the Lumara dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver is not compatible with dimmer switches. Attempting to use a dimmer may cause flickering or damage to the driver.
