Lucka Outdoor XXL is a garden mirror 100cm wide and 200cm tall in a black metal frame, built to live outside. It is the largest of the outdoor Lucka mirrors and the whole family is photographed outdoors because that is what it is for.

A mirror on an outside wall does something no other object does: it gives a small garden a second one. At two metres tall it reflects planting and sky rather than just a fence, and on a courtyard wall it roughly doubles the apparent depth. Put it where it will catch green rather than a neighbour's window, and out of direct afternoon sun if you can, which keeps the reflection cooler and the frame cooler with it. It hangs either way up. At 24kg it is a two person job and the fixing wants to go into masonry rather than a fence panel; two screws, washers and plugs are supplied and nothing needs assembling.

The frame is black metal on mirrored glass, 2cm deep. It is rated bathroom proof, which is the same moisture rating that makes it usable outside, but that is not the same as being weathered for years on an exposed wall, so a sheltered position will keep it looking new for longer. Clean it with cleaner sprayed onto a cloth and dry the frame rather than leaving water standing on it. Smaller sizes in the same outdoor range run from 120cm. All of them share the same black frame and the same 2cm depth, so two hung together sit flush with each other on the same wall.
