Lucka Bronze Black Rect. is a rectangular wall mirror, 120cm high by 80cm wide and only 2cm deep, in a slim black metal frame with the glass sitting flush to its front face. The glass is tinted bronze right through rather than coated on the back, so the reflection comes back a shade warmer and a shade darker than the room, which is what a bronze mirror is for.

It suits a hallway, a bedroom or a bathroom, where it is rated to go. It hangs in two directions, so the 120cm can run upright above a console or across above a bed. The tint does most of the work on a pale wall, where a clear mirror would simply repeat what is in front of it. At 11kg and 2cm deep it is a one person lift that sits close to the wall, with two screws, washers and plugs supplied and nothing to assemble. The same glass and frame are made as a narrow hall mirror and at full length, and there is a gold framed version with clear glass.

The mirror is bronze mirrored glass in a black metal frame. Clean it with cleaner sprayed onto a soft cloth rather than onto the glass. Because the frame is flush rather than a channel, there is no lip along the bottom edge for dust to gather in, which is worth having on a mirror hung above a basin. At 2cm deep it will sit on a wall where a deeper frame would catch a door or an architrave, and the black frame gives it an edge against a pale wall that a frameless bronze mirror would not have.
