This is the Love Tuft cushion, a 45 x 45cm square worked in ultra-soft micro boucle with the word LOVE embroidered and tufted across a cream ground. Each letter is its own colour and its own texture: a green L in a scalloped ridge, a red and pink O in a checked block, a blue V in soft raised bands, and an orange E in fine flat lines. The result is a cushion that changes as you look at it, some parts sitting proud and springy, others lying almost flat against the cloth.
