Description

The Love is a 3-light table lamp built around hand-formed glass branches that flare from a central polished chrome stem on a black rectangular base. Each glass element is individually formed and filled with a white resin core that creates an opal interior when backlit. The three G4 bulbs sit within the stem, projecting light upwards through the hollow glass branches to turn the resin cores into glowing sculptural forms.

Designed for console tables, sideboards and entrance hall surfaces where a decorative accent is needed alongside ambient light, the Love stands 480mm tall with a 300mm-wide spread across the glass branches. The polished chrome finish on the stem and base reflects the glow from the glass, amplifying the total light output without adding additional bulbs. The black base provides visual grounding and prevents the chrome from dominating darker furniture surfaces.

Each glass branch is individually formed by hand, so the exact shape and thickness of the glass walls differ between individual lamps. The white resin cores are cast into the glass during production, creating a sealed unit that requires no special cleaning beyond wiping the exterior glass with a dry cloth. The 3kg weight gives the lamp stability on surfaces without needing to be fixed in place. The lamp requires three G4 halogen bulbs up to 20W each, sold separately, and is not compatible with LED or CFL G4 equivalents due to the specific light temperature and dispersion characteristics needed to light the resin cores correctly.

No. The lamp is rated as non-dimmable and should be used on a standard mains switch circuit without dimmer control.

How is the glass cleaned?

The glass branches are sealed units with the white resin core inside. Wipe the exterior glass gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid getting water into the G4 bulb sockets in the stem.
