Description

The Loretello is a square LED flush ceiling light with softly rounded corners, a white steel body and a white plastic diffuser set within the frame. It measures 35cm long and 35cm wide and is only 7.5cm deep, so it sits close to the ceiling and keeps the room feeling open where a pendant would hang too low. The light comes from an integrated 20W LED giving 2,500 lumens, a bright output for a fitting this slim. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, and never in a bathroom or outdoors.

The colour temperature runs from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so the same light can give a cosy glow in a living room at night and crisp, clear light in a kitchen or home office by day. It is colour-changing (RGB) too, letting you bathe the room in a colour of your choosing for a film night or a party. The low, square shape looks tidy on a landing, in a hallway or in a bedroom, where a slim fitting suits the space better than a hanging one. It is a good choice for anyone who wants one ceiling light to handle working light, relaxed evening light and a splash of colour.

Day to day, you control it by app, dimming it and changing the colour temperature or colour from wherever you sit. It also works with a remote control, which is sold separately. There is no switch on the fitting itself, so it is switched at the wall like any ceiling light. As a wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download. It has an energy class of E and weighs 1.469KG packed. Because the LED is integrated, there is no bulb to buy or change.
