The fitting itself supports dimming, but you must use dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Not all G9 LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check the bulb specification before pairing with a dimmer.

How is the polished chrome maintained?

Polished chrome shows fingerprints and dust easily. Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth to remove surface dust. For smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but dry immediately to avoid water spots. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal polishes.
