The Loop is a 3-light semi-flush ceiling light built around a polished chrome frame of three intertwining curved arms, each supporting a frosted and clear layered glass sphere housing a G9 bulb (sold separately). The 280mm-wide frame sits 200mm from the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights around 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low but a flush fitting lacks visual interest.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways where decorative ceiling lighting is needed without excessive drop, the Loop combines ambient light with architectural form. The three frosted glass spheres diffuse the G9 bulb output to create soft general room lighting, while the polished chrome curves reflect surrounding light and add geometric definition. The fixture pairs cleanly with contemporary and mid-century interiors where curved metal detailing is already present in furniture or hardware.

Each glass sphere comprises two layers, an outer clear shell and an inner frosted core, which together diffuse light while maintaining a clean silhouette. The polished chrome finish on the metal frame provides high reflectivity, catching both natural daylight and artificial light sources to add brightness to the space. At 1.6kg the fitting requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or rosette capable of supporting the weight.

The 200mm projection from the ceiling makes the Loop suitable for rooms with ceiling heights around 2.4m and above. In rooms with higher ceilings (2.7m+) the fixture still works but appears more compact relative to the space.

How is the polished chrome finish maintained?

Polished chrome shows fingerprints and dust more readily than brushed finishes. Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For smudges, a barely-damp cloth followed by immediate drying prevents water spots.
