Description

The Look is an upright square-section wall tube that sends light out of its open top and bottom, so one beam climbs the wall and a second drops below it. Lit, the fitting reads as a slim copper column between two soft triangles of light; switched off it is a plain copper bar with the two lamp apertures just visible at each end.

This is the 300mm version in copper, a 60mm square profile that stands 80mm off the wall, so it keeps a narrow footprint while giving real height on the plaster. The paired up and down throw suits a hallway, a stairwell or a spot beside a mirror or console, where the aim is framed accent light rather than one bright source. Copper reads as a warm reddish metal that stands out against a pale wall and settles against warmer tones.

The base and body are plated metal in copper and the two apertures each hold a GU10 lamp. Two GU10 bulbs are supplied with it, each taking up to 28W, so the beam colour and brightness follow whichever GU10 you run, warm or cool. Wiring is direct to mains with no separate driver, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

What kind of light does the Look give?

Two directed beams, one rising up the wall and one falling below, from a pair of GU10 lamps set into the open ends. It works as framed accent wash around the fitting rather than a single broad source, and the colour of the light follows the GU10 bulbs you run.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. Two GU10 lamps are supplied, each rated up to 28W. Because they are a standard replaceable cap, you can later swap to a warmer, cooler or brighter GU10 to suit the room.

Can it be dimmed?

The fitting itself is wired for on and off only. Dimming is possible if you pair dimmable GU10 bulbs with a compatible wall dimmer, so we are happy to advise on a matched set before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

It is a 60mm square tube standing 300mm tall and projecting 80mm from the wall. The twin up and down throw suits a hallway, a stairwell, or a pair either side of a mirror, console or bed.
