Description

The Look is a short square-section metal tube fixed flush overhead that lights downward from its open lower end. It holds a single GU10 spot lamp within the body, so the beam falls as a contained pool below while the squared brass barrel reads as a crisp geometric block against the ceiling. Off, it keeps a low, angular form.

The tube is 60mm across the face and drops 100mm below the ceiling, the shortest reach in this square Look family, so it sits close to the surface and suits a hallway, a landing or a spot over a console where a low directed point works. The square profile gives a sharper line than the round version. Because it takes a GU10, the brightness, beam and colour follow the lamp you fit.

The body is powder-coated metal in brass, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and built to Class II. It stays fixed rather than adjustable, holding one downward line, and runs on plain on-off switching. We supply a GU10 lamp with it, ready to wire.

What kind of light does it give?

A directed downward spot. The square tube takes one GU10 lamp, so the pool below follows the bulb fitted, from a tight warm beam to a broader one, marking a point rather than washing the room.

Does it take a bulb or is the LED built in?

It takes a replaceable GU10 spot lamp, up to 28W, and one is included. You can pick the beam and colour temperature to suit, then change the lamp later without replacing the fitting.

Can the ceiling light be dimmed?

The fitting itself is on-off, so dimming depends on a dimmable GU10 lamp with a compatible wall control. We can advise on a suitable lamp and circuit before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The square body is 60mm across and drops 100mm below the ceiling, the shortest in the square Look range. That compact reach works in a hallway, on a landing or over a console, alone or in a repeated line.
