Description

The Look is a tall square-section metal tube mounted overhead that lights downward from its open base. A single GU10 spot lamp sits within the body, so the beam falls as a defined pool below while the squared brass column reads as a clean vertical line from the ceiling. Off, it keeps a spare, upright shape.

The tube is 60mm across the face and drops 400mm below the ceiling, a longer reach in the square Look family, bringing the source down over a table, an island or a hallway where a low directed point suits. The square profile holds a firmer edge than the round version at the same drop. Because it takes a GU10, the beam width, brightness and colour follow the lamp you fit.

The body is powder-coated metal in brass, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and built to Class II. It stays fixed rather than adjustable, holding one downward axis, and runs on plain on-off switching. We supply a GU10 lamp with it, ready to wire.

What kind of light does it give?

A directed downward spot brought low by the longer tube. It holds one GU10 lamp, so the pool below follows the bulb fitted, from a tight warm beam to a broader spread, marking a table or an island rather than filling the room.

Does it take a bulb or is the LED built in?

It takes a replaceable GU10 spot lamp, up to 28W, and one is included. You can pick the beam and colour temperature to suit, then change the lamp later without touching the fitting.

Can the ceiling light be dimmed?

The fitting itself is on-off, so dimming depends on a dimmable GU10 lamp with a compatible wall control. We can advise on a suitable lamp and circuit before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The square body is 60mm across and drops 400mm below the ceiling, a longer reach in the square Look range. That works over a table or an island, in a hallway, or where the source needs bringing part-way down.
