Description

The Look is an upright metal cylinder that fixes flat to the wall and throws light from both open ends, one beam rising and one falling. With a lamp at each tip, it lays a pair of soft cones across the surface behind, so the plaster itself carries the glow rather than the fitting spilling out into a room. In chrome the tube reads as a bright reflective bar, catching what stands around it whether lit or off.

The body stands 300mm tall and 60mm across, projecting only 80mm from the wall, so it sits close and keeps to a narrow footprint beside a bed, along a hallway or either side of a mirror. It takes two GU10 lamps, one up and one down, and these are included, so the piece works the moment it is wired. Fit warmer or cooler GU10 bulbs to set the mood you want.

The base and cylinder are metal in a chrome finish, rated IP20 for dry indoor walls. There is no driver of its own, so dimming and colour depend entirely on the GU10 lamps you choose. We would have an electrician make the connection to the wall.

How does the light fall from this fitting?

In two directions. A GU10 spot at the top and another at the base send one beam up and one down, grazing the wall above and below so the surface glows rather than throwing light across the room.

Are the lamps supplied?

Yes. Both GU10 bulbs are included, one for each end, so the wall light arrives complete and ready to wire in with nothing extra to buy.

Can it be dimmed?

The unit has no dimmer built in. Because it runs on standard GU10 lamps, you can lower it by fitting dimmable GU10 bulbs on a compatible wall control.

What size is it and where does it work?

It stands 300mm tall, 60mm wide and reaches 80mm off the wall. That slim shape suits a bedside, a hallway or a spot beside a mirror, run singly or in a matching pair.
