Description

The Look is a twin wall light built as two open-ended round tubes set back-to-back on a slim plate, one head aimed up the wall and one down. Each tube holds a GU10 spot, so the fitting throws two contained beams that graze the wall as an up-and-down wash rather than a soft all-round glow, with the metal bodies shielding the lamps so you read the light on the surface rather than the source. This version has round heads on a 300mm-long body in a dark burnished finish, a smoky gunmetal tone that stays muted rather than shiny.

Two GU10 spots suit accent light in a hallway, beside a bed or either side of a mirror, where the paired beams pick out the wall above and below the fitting. The 300mm length gives a taller pair of light cones than the short 150mm body, so it covers more wall and draws a longer vertical mark. Lit, it casts two soft triangles of light on the plaster; unlit, the burnished body sits back as a dark, low-key vertical mark.

We supply it ready to use with both GU10 bulbs included, hard-wired to a wall point. The burnished body is a plated metal finish, class II insulated and rated IP20 for indoor rooms. The two heads adjust so you can set how wide the beams open.

What kind of light does the Look give?

A paired up-and-down wash. The two GU10 spots throw contained beams from the top and bottom of the fitting, grazing the wall rather than filling the room, so it works as accent light in a hallway or beside a bed or mirror.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. Both GU10 lamps are included, so the fitting arrives ready to wire and light. The GU10s are replaceable, so they can be swapped later.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself is non-dimmable and has no driver. Dimming depends on the bulbs: fit dimmable GU10s on a compatible wall dimmer and the light can be lowered.

What does the burnished finish look like?

A dark, smoky gunmetal tone that stays muted rather than shiny, so it reads as a quiet mark on the wall. The body is 60mm across and 300mm long, projecting 80mm, and suits a hallway or bedside wall.
