Description

The Look is a slim metal cylinder mounted overhead that throws its light down from the open lower end. A single GU10 spot lamp sits within the tube, so the beam lands as a defined pool underneath while the barrel itself reads as a clean brass line dropping from the ceiling. Unlit, it keeps a spare vertical shape.

The tube measures 60mm across and hangs 750mm below the ceiling, the longest reach in this round Look family, so it brings the source down closer to a table, an island or a reading chair without a separate pendant flex. That deep projection suits taller rooms and stairwells where a shorter fitting would sit too high. Because it runs on a GU10, the brightness, beam width and colour follow the lamp you fit.

The body is powder-coated metal in brass, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and made to Class II. It stays fixed rather than tilting, holding one downward axis, and works on plain on-off switching. We include a GU10 lamp, ready to wire.

What kind of light does it give?

A directed downward spot brought low by the long tube. It holds a single GU10 lamp, so the pool below follows the bulb fitted, from a narrow warm beam to a broader spread, picking out a table or an island rather than filling the whole room.

Does it take a bulb or is the LED built in?

It takes a replaceable GU10 spot lamp, up to 28W, and one comes with it. You choose the beam and colour temperature to suit, and can change the lamp later without touching the fitting.

Can the ceiling light be dimmed?

The fitting itself is on-off, so dimming relies on a dimmable GU10 lamp paired with a compatible wall control. We can point you to a suitable lamp and circuit before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The cylinder is 60mm across and drops 750mm below the ceiling, the longest in the round Look range. That deep reach works over a table or an island, in a stairwell, or in a taller room where the source needs bringing down.
