Description
The Look is a round metal cylinder fixed overhead that lights downward from its open base. A single GU10 spot lamp sits inside the tube, casting a defined pool underneath, while the body carries a matt plaster-effect coating that can be painted to sit almost flush with the ceiling colour. Off, it reads as a quiet raised barrel rather than a fitting on show.
The tube is 70mm across and drops 400mm below the ceiling, a mid reach in the round Look family, bringing the light down over a table, a hallway or a spot where a longer projection helps without going full-length. The plaster finish takes emulsion, so decorators can blend it into the surface. Because it uses a GU10, the beam width, brightness and colour follow the lamp you choose.
The body is metal with a paintable plaster-effect coating, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and built to Class II. It stays fixed rather than adjustable, holding a single downward line, and runs on plain on-off switching. We supply a GU10 lamp with it, ready to wire.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does it give?
A directed downward spot. The tube holds one GU10 lamp, so the pool below follows the bulb fitted, from a narrow warm beam to a wider spread, marking a spot rather than lighting the whole room evenly.
Can the plaster finish be painted?
Yes. The body carries a matt plaster-effect coating made to take emulsion, so it can be painted to match the ceiling and read as part of the surface rather than a separate fitting.
Does it take a bulb, and can it be dimmed?
It takes a replaceable GU10 spot lamp up to 28W, and one is included. The fitting itself is on-off, so dimming depends on a dimmable GU10 lamp with a compatible wall control, which we can advise on.
How big is it and where does it suit?
The cylinder is 70mm across and drops 400mm below the ceiling, a mid reach in the round Look range. That works over a table, along a hallway or in a room where the light needs bringing part-way down.
