Description

The Look is a slender metal tube that hangs as a narrow brass line and points its light straight down. Rather than a bulb behind glass, the LED sits inside the open lower end, so the cylinder glows only at the tip and the beam falls as a contained pool beneath it. Lit, it reads as a single warm bar of metal; switched off, it holds a clean vertical shape against the ceiling.

At 30mm across and 700mm long, the body is a fine cylinder on a cable that adjusts in overall drop from 900mm up to 2850mm, letting you set it low over one point or hang a few in a row. The built-in LED gives 1000 lumens at a warm 3000K with a high colour rendering above 90, so surfaces and food below sit under a flattering light. Because the beam is directional, we would aim each one where the pool should land.

We supply it wired and ready, with the LED integrated into the body rather than a lamp you fit. The tube and ceiling cap are metal in a brass finish on an adjustable cable, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. Switching is on-off at the wall, so there is no built-in dimming.

What sort of light does it give?

A focused warm-white downward beam. The LED sits at the base of the tube and casts 1000 lumens at 3000K straight below, so it marks out a defined pool on the surface underneath rather than filling the whole room.

Do we need to buy a bulb?

No. The LED is built into the fitting and rated for around 50,000 hours, so it arrives complete with nothing to fit and no lamp to replace during normal use.

Can this pendant be dimmed?

Not as standard. It uses simple on-off switching at the wall with no driver for dimming, so the output stays at a fixed warm level whenever it is turned on.

How far does it hang and where does it suit?

The cable sets any drop between 900mm and 2850mm, and the body itself is 700mm long. That makes it good over a kitchen island, a breakfast bar or a dining table, singly above one spot or grouped in a line.
