Description

The Look is a fine metal cylinder mounted flush overhead that lights downward from its open lower tip. Because the LED sits inside the tube rather than behind a diffuser, the beam reads as a single contained pool below while the body itself stays a quiet brass line. Switched off, it holds that slender drop as a warm metallic accent against the ceiling.

The tube is 30mm across and reaches 400mm down, a longer semi-recessed drop than the shorter version, so it suits taller rooms or a spot where the light should sit closer to a surface. The built-in LED gives 500 lumens at a warm 3000K with colour rendering above 90, laying a flattering pool over a worktop, a console or a stair. It is fixed rather than adjustable, keeping a set height and a clean vertical.

The body is powder-coated metal in a brass finish, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. It runs on plain on-off switching with no built-in dimming, so it stays at one warm level. We supply it ready to wire, with the LED integrated and nothing to slot in.

What sort of light comes from it?

A warm, focused downward pool. The LED sits within the tube and casts 500 lumens at 3000K straight below, picking out a defined area rather than washing the room, so it reads as accent light.

Does it need a bulb?

No. The LED is built into the fitting and rated for around 50,000 hours, so it arrives complete and ready to wire with no lamp to buy or replace in normal use.

Is dimming possible?

Not as standard. The drop uses on-off switching with no driver for lowering the level, so its warm output holds steady whenever the light is on.

How long is the drop and where does it suit?

The cylinder is 30mm wide and hangs 400mm below the ceiling. That longer reach works in a taller hallway or over a console, worktop or stair, singly or grouped in a row.
