Description

The Look is a narrow metal cylinder fixed straight overhead, sending its light down from the open lower end. The LED sits inside the tube rather than behind a shade, so the beam falls as a single tidy pool beneath the fitting and the body reads as a clean black bar dropping from above. Off, it keeps that slim vertical form against a flat ceiling.

The tube is 30mm across and hangs 200mm below the ceiling, a short semi-recessed drop that suits a hallway, a landing or a spot over a worktop where a low-set point of light helps. Its built-in LED gives 500 lumens at a warm 3000K, casting a contained accent rather than a room-filling wash. Fixed rather than hanging on a cable, it holds a set height and a precise line.

The body is powder-coated metal in matt black, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. The LED runs on simple on-off switching with no dimming, so it stays at one warm level. We supply it complete, with the light source built in and nothing to fit.

Is there a bulb to fit?

No. The LED is built into the body and rated for about 50,000 hours, so the fitting arrives ready to wire with no lamp to add or swap in normal use.

Can the ceiling light be dimmed?

Not on its own. It runs on plain on-off switching with no driver for dimming, so the warm output holds at a single level each time it is turned on.

How far does it drop and where does it suit?
