Our Lomba pouffe is covered all over in long, loose strands of wool, so the top and every side carry the same deep, shaggy texture in a natural colour. It measures 80cm long, 80cm wide and 45cm tall, a soft square shape with rounded edges, which makes it a generous footstool rather than a small perch. The outer is 68% wool, 20% cotton, 7% polyester and 5% viscose, and the filling is 100% polyester. Wool is a springy, resilient fibre, and that springiness is what gives a shaggy surface like this its body and bounce.

In a living room it sits in front of a sofa or armchair as a footrest, and with a seat height of 40cm it also works as an extra seat when guests arrive; the maker gives its maximum load as 125KG.
