Description

The Linea Medium is a 1000mm linear pendant light built around a slim brushed brass channel housing a length of natural Spanish alabaster, with an integrated 30W LED running the full length behind the stone. The 60mm x 60mm profile keeps the fixture visually slim, and the alabaster sits flush within the brass surround so the entire underside glows as one continuous warm 3000K line.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and long worktops, the Linea provides combined ambient and task lighting along the full run rather than the focused pools of light produced by a cluster of pendants. The 1m length suits islands and tables of roughly 1.4-2m, hung 700-800mm above the surface. Two slim suspension cables run from a rectangular brushed brass ceiling canopy, with the cables adjustable on installation to set the drop.

Each section of alabaster carries its own veining and tonal variation, so when the LED is on the stone shows soft cloud-like patterns across the length of the bar rather than uniform brightness. The brushed brass finish on both the channel and ceiling canopy keeps the metal warm and low-sheen, pairing the pale translucent stone with a quiet metallic frame. The architectural form sits comfortably in modern, contemporary and pared-back traditional kitchens.

The 1000mm length works well over kitchen islands and dining tables of roughly 1.4-2m. As linear pendants provide light along their full length rather than from a single point, you do not need to centre the light on the surface as precisely as with a single pendant.

The 30W LED is integrated into the fixture rather than being a replaceable bulb. The 2-year warranty covers LED failure within that period.

How is the drop adjusted?

The Linea is suspended on two slim cables from a rectangular brushed brass ceiling canopy. The cable length is adjustable on installation, allowing the bar to be set at the typical 700-800mm above an island or dining surface, or higher for walkway clearance.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. The alabaster is cut from natural Spanish stone, so veining and tonal variation differ along the length of each fixture and between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural material and creates the soft cloud-like pattern visible when the LED is on.
