Description

The Limanne is a slim LED bathroom mirror light: a straight white opal tube held across a round chrome wall plate by a chrome bracket at its centre, with a chrome cap at each end. The body is steel in a chrome finish and the diffuser is white plastic, so the light spreads soft and even along the whole tube rather than gathering at a single bright point. It is 60cm long and 12cm high, and it stands just 6.5cm proud of the wall, which keeps it neat above a mirror. The integrated LEDs draw 11W and give 1,200lm. It is rated IP44, protected from splashing water, and that is what lets it live in a bathroom.

Hang it above the bathroom mirror or the vanity unit, where a long, even light falls across the face for shaving, make-up and the everyday morning routine. A tube light like this lights the face from the front rather than from overhead, which softens the shadows a single ceiling light leaves under the eyes and chin. It suits a basin or a double vanity, and it works just as well in a cloakroom or a dressing area wherever you want clear light at a mirror. A qualified electrician will fit it and confirm the right zone in your bathroom.

You choose between three colour temperatures at the light itself: 3000K for a warm white, 4000K for a neutral white and 6500K for a cool, daylight white. It has no switch of its own and is controlled from your wall switch, and it has a memory function as well. It is not dimmable. It runs on 230V, 50Hz and carries energy class E. Chrome wipes clean with a soft, dry cloth. The installation instructions come as a download, so you can read them before the day of fitting.
