Description

The Lil Scallop is a plain velvet cushion built around one idea: a scalloped edge that runs the whole way round, picked out in a contrast pink thread against an orange velvet body. It measures 45 x 45cm, the standard square that most cushion pads are made to, and it is velvet on both faces rather than plain on the back, so it looks the same whichever way it lands on the sofa. The pile is polyester, which gives velvet its soft hand and its light-catching sheen while standing up to the everyday knocks a scatter cushion takes.

A 45cm square is the workhorse size for a sofa or a made bed, big enough to lean on and easy to pair in a row or a stack. This one is here to add colour rather than blend in: the warm orange and the pink scalloped trim make it a natural fit for a room that already has some character, and the photographed range shows it sits happily alongside blue, brown, yellow, teal and pink versions of the same shape if you want to build a mix.
