Description
The Lika Wall Washer is a small rectangular recessed fitting in white die-cast aluminium, set to throw its light sideways across a nearby wall rather than straight down. An asymmetric reflector inside the body pushes an even sheet of light up and along the surface, so a wall reads as a soft graded wash from top to bottom with no hot spot. Recessed flush into the ceiling near the wall, it leaves only a slim slot on show at 147mm long.
The LED is built in and gives 1100 lumens as a wall-grazing wash, a broad even spread for lifting a feature wall, a run of shelving or a hallway rather than pooling on the floor. Colour is a warm 3000K with a colour rendering above 90, so plaster, stone and artwork hold their tone under it. Set in a line a short way out from the wall, several give a continuous band of light down a room.
The body is painted die-cast aluminium in white with a shiny black polycarbonate reflector, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. The driver is built in and included, and side flaps let it fix into plasterboard without extra brackets. We supply it complete, with the LED and driver in place and nothing to wire beyond the mains feed.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does it cast?
A wall-grazing wash rather than a downward pool. An asymmetric reflector spreads 1100 lumens sideways at 3000K to light a wall evenly from top to bottom, with no bright spot at eye level.
Is there a bulb to fit?
No. The LED is built into the body with the driver included, rated for around 50,000 hours, so the wall washer arrives ready to wire with no lamp to add or replace in normal use.
How far from the wall should it sit?
It recesses into the ceiling a short way out from the wall so the beam grazes down the surface. As a guide a small setback of a few centimetres gives an even wash; we can advise for a given ceiling height.
Where does it suit?
It suits a feature wall, a run of shelving, a stair wall or a hallway where an even sheet of light is wanted. The 147mm body recesses flush and lines up neatly when several are run together.
