Description
Our LED strip light is a long, narrow ribbon of closely set LEDs that arrives wound on a reel, with a lead wire and a connector at one end. It runs 2000cm long and just 0.8cm wide, so it tucks into the slimmest of gaps and still covers a great deal of ground in a single run. The LEDs are integrated and give a cool white light at 4000K, a crisp, clear white that suits worktops, desks and shelving where you want to see properly. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, well away from water.
Because it is so slim, the strip disappears into places a conventional fitting never could: along the back of a bookcase, beneath kitchen wall cabinets away from the sink, around the edge of a raised ceiling, inside a wardrobe or behind a television. The cool white tone keeps a workspace bright and businesslike, which makes it a sensible choice for a home office, a hallway or a utility room, provided the space stays dry. For anyone lighting a long run of shelving or the whole edge of a room, the 2000cm length gives a long, continuous line of light from a single strip.
The LEDs are built into the strip and are not replaceable, so this is a light you fit once and leave in place. There is no switch on the strip itself, because it is switched at the wall. The strip has no driver of its own, which is worth knowing as you plan the run. At 0.31KG, the strip is light and easy to handle while you work along a shelf or a ceiling edge. To keep it looking its best, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth whenever the strip is unlit. The installation instructions come as a download, and they are worth a read before you begin.

Frequently Asked
Can the strip light go in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in dry rooms, so keep it away from bathrooms, sinks and every outdoor space.
What colour is the light?
It gives a cool white light at 4000K, a crisp, clear white that suits worktops, desks, shelving and other places where you want to see well.
How long and how wide is the strip?
The strip is 2000cm long and 0.8cm wide, slim enough to tuck into narrow gaps along shelves, cabinets and the edges of a ceiling.
Can the LEDs be replaced?
No. The LEDs are integrated into the strip and are not replaceable, so the strip is fitted as one complete length of light.
Does the strip have its own switch?
There is no switch on the strip itself. It is switched at the wall, so you control it from a wall switch in the room.
Is a driver included?
No. The strip has no driver of its own, so it is worth allowing for one as you plan where the strip will run.
