Description

This Knightsbridge LED strip dimmer is an inline controller for 24V DC LED strip installations, providing on/off switching plus high and low brightness presets. The unit measures 70mm long by 25mm wide by 12mm deep and sits inline between the power supply and the LED strip, with input and output leads pre-fitted. The memory function retains the last selected brightness level when switched off, so the strip returns to that level when switched back on rather than defaulting to full brightness.

Designed for residential and commercial installations using flat or triangular profile LED strips, the dimmer suits under-cabinet lighting in kitchens, display lighting in retail and hospitality, architectural cove lighting, and any other application where 24V LED strip needs manual dimming control without a wall-mounted dimmer switch. The three-button interface (on/off, high, low) gives instant access to two preset brightness levels without the need to step through incremental dimming.

The polycarbonate casing in black houses the control electronics and provides insulation around the input and output connections. The Class III rating means the unit operates on extra-low voltage (24V DC) and does not require earthing. The compact 70mm length allows the dimmer to be tucked into gaps between cabinets, mounted to the underside of shelves, or hidden behind plinths depending on the installation layout.

What voltage LED strips does this work with?

This dimmer operates on 24V DC only. It will not work with 12V DC strips or mains-voltage 230V LED strip. Check the voltage rating on your LED strip power supply before ordering.

What's the maximum load capacity?

Refer to the Product Specification Sheet in the Downloads tab for the exact wattage or amperage rating. Most inline LED strip dimmers in this form factor handle 3-5A on 24V DC, which equates to 72-120W of LED strip load.

Does it remember the brightness setting?

Yes. The memory function stores the last brightness level selected before the dimmer was switched off. When switched back on, the strip returns to that stored level rather than full brightness.

Can it be mounted to a surface?

The unit has a mounting tab with a screw hole at one end, allowing it to be fixed to the underside of cabinets, shelves or similar surfaces using a single screw. The compact size also allows it to be tucked into gaps or concealed behind plinths.
