Description
The Layered Leaf Ceramic Table Lamp Base takes its shape from the overlapping petals of an artichoke, with rows of hand-formed ceramic leaves building up around a rounded body. Each leaf carries a soft crackle glaze in a warm cream tone, giving the surface a gentle sheen and a little variation from piece to piece. A slim brass fitting and bayonet lamp holder sit at the top, ready for the shade of your choice.
We offer this base in two sizes, from a small at 30.5cm high to a larger version at 37.5cm high, so you can match it to a bedside table, console or sideboard. The sculptural leaf detail works well in a country, coastal or more traditional room, and the neutral glaze pairs easily with linen, cotton or card shades in soft colours.
The lamp holder is supplied without a shade, leaving you free to finish it to suit your space. Made from ceramic with brass and steel fittings, it has a solid weighted feel and a base that sits flat and steady. Wired for UK use, it needs a shade and bulb to complete.
