The Lark cushion is made from four-layer muslin crinkle cotton, a fabric built up from several fine layers that settle into soft, slightly ribbed lines across the surface. That construction is what gives the cover its texture and its lightness at once: pure cotton, so it breathes and feels airy rather than dense, with a gently crinkled face you can see in the close weave. It measures 45 x 45cm, the standard square that most cushion pads and covers are sold to, so replacements and pairings are easy to find. The colourway here is Pink Clay, a warm, muted dusky pink.

A 45 x 45cm square is the workhorse cushion size, and this one is soft-natured enough to suit a bed as readily as a sofa.
