Description
The Knightsbridge LSC1 is a 35mm diameter rubber suction cup designed to secure lamp holders and lightweight light fittings to smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass, glazed tiles, mirrors and acrylic panels. The translucent rubber cup creates a vacuum seal when pressed against a clean, flat surface, holding the fitting in place without drilling or adhesive.
Commonly used for temporary lighting installations in shop windows, exhibition stands, bathroom mirrors and decorative glass partitions, the suction cup allows fittings to be repositioned or removed without leaving marks. The cup pairs with compatible lamp holders that have a threaded or clip-on attachment point on the back. The rubber compound remains flexible across typical indoor temperature ranges, maintaining the seal over extended periods.
The 35mm diameter suits lightweight E14 and small E27 lamp holders, decorative LED modules and low-voltage fittings where the combined weight of the holder, bulb and cable does not exceed the suction capacity. For reliable adhesion, the surface must be smooth, clean and free from dust, grease or texture — the cup will not adhere to porous surfaces like painted plaster, untreated wood or textured glass.

Frequently Asked
What weight can the suction cup hold?
The safe load depends on the surface material, temperature and installation quality. The cup suits lightweight lamp holders, small E14 bulbs and decorative LED modules. For critical or permanent installations, check the manufacturer's specification sheet or contact us for weight capacity data.
What surfaces does it work on?
The cup adheres to smooth, non-porous surfaces including glass, glazed ceramic tiles, mirrors, polished metal and acrylic panels. It will not adhere reliably to porous or textured surfaces such as painted walls, untreated wood, frosted glass or rough stone.
How do you remove it without damaging the surface?
Gently lift one edge of the rubber cup to break the vacuum seal, then peel the cup away from the surface. Do not pull directly outward while the seal is intact as this can stress the rubber or the surface.
Can it be reused?
Yes. Clean the cup with warm water and a mild detergent to remove dust and residue, then dry thoroughly before reapplying to a clean surface. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the rubber.
