Description

The Kyra is a 385mm crystal chandelier with three E14 candle-style fittings suspended on curved metal arms around a central column, all finished in satin nickel. Faceted crystal droplets hang from each arm and cascade from the centre, catching and refracting light from the bulbs. The satin nickel finish provides a low-sheen alternative to polished chrome or brass, pairing comfortably with both warm and cool-toned interiors.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms where ceiling heights range from 2.4m to 3.5m, the Kyra works above round or square dining tables up to 1.2m wide, or as a central feature in hallways and landing areas. The drop is adjustable from 495mm to 1095mm on installation, allowing the chandelier to be set higher in rooms with lower ceilings or lower in taller spaces. The three-arm configuration keeps the overall width compact while still providing decorative presence.

Each of the three arms curves upward from the central column and terminates in a candle-sleeve E14 lampholder with a crystal drip tray beneath. The frame weighs 1.8kg and requires a ceiling rose capable of supporting that load. The chandelier accepts any standard E14 bulbs up to 40W each (bulbs sold separately), and is compatible with dimmable LED bulbs when paired with an appropriate dimmer switch. The satin nickel differs from polished or brushed finishes by having a softer, more uniform matte surface that hides fingerprints and reduces glare under direct light.

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself does not contain dimming circuitry, so both the bulbs and the wall dimmer must support dimming.

What bulbs does it take?

The Kyra takes three E14 (small Edison screw) candle-style bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional look.

What size dining table does it suit?

The 385mm diameter works above dining tables up to 1.2m wide. For larger tables, the Kyra can be used in multiples or paired with a larger chandelier from the Diyas range.

How is the drop adjusted?

The drop is adjusted during installation by varying the length of chain between the ceiling rose and the chandelier body. The supplied chain allows drops from 495mm to 1095mm. For dining tables, a drop of 700-800mm above the table surface is typical.
