Description

The Kura is a single-light flush ceiling light: a round brass ceiling plate, a short banded holder and a teardrop glass that sits close beneath it. It is 22cm tall and 12cm across, so it keeps a low, neat line on the ceiling. We offer it in Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Natural Brass, Matt Black, White, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, with the glass in Clear or Opal. Matt Black and White are painted colours, to RAL 9005 and RAL 9010. It takes one E27 bulb, sold separately, of up to 6.5W per bulb (LED), so you choose the bulb yourself.

With an IP65 rating, the Kura suits a bathroom as well as a hallway, and its compact size makes it a sensible choice for a small bathroom ceiling or a narrow hall where a hanging light would be in the way. Clear glass lets the bulb show through for a bright, open look, while Opal glass gives a softer, more even glow. With seven finishes to choose from, you can pick up the tone of taps, handles, door furniture or other metalwork in the room, from the warmth of Antique Brass or Natural Brass to the crisp contrast of Matt Black or White.

Each Kura is made from brass and glass, and made to order for you in Ireland. It is a mains fitting, to be wired in by a qualified electrician. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. When you order, settle on your finish and your glass, and have an E27 LED bulb of no more than 6.5W ready for the day your electrician fits it.
