The semi-flush design sits approximately 140mm below the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms and living rooms where ambient light is needed without a large pendant drop, the Kromo fits standard UK ceiling roses and requires three G9 capsule bulbs sold separately. The polished chrome finish gives a bright, reflective surface that amplifies the light output from the bulbs and works well in contemporary and transitional interiors with cool colour palettes, white walls or mirrored furniture. The glass blocks are held in place by chrome rings that double as structural supports and decorative accents, giving the fitting a balanced three-point composition when viewed from below.

The optical glass used in the Kromo is heavier and denser than standard clear glass, which gives the fitting a substantial 3.2kg weight and allows for deeper facet cuts that produce sharper light refraction. What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Kromo requires three G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this fitting with 3-4W LED G9 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) or cool white (4000K) depending on room use. The total wattage depends on the bulbs chosen.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The semi-flush design sits 140mm below the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or lower where a full pendant would hang too low. The 440mm diameter suits rooms between 3m x 3m and 5m x 4m.

Is the Kromo dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmable-compatible, but dimming requires dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the lighting circuit. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer.

How is the glass cleaned?

The faceted optical glass can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth when cool. For fingerprints or dust buildup, a glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth (not directly onto the fitting) works well. The chrome frame can be polished with a soft cloth to maintain the reflective finish.
