Kos 4 Light Crystal Pendant Light - Polished Chrome

The Kos is a 200mm-diameter crystal pendant light built around four G9 bulb positions enclosed within a cylindrical arrangement of octagon-cut crystal strands. The crystals are strung vertically on a polished chrome internal frame, forming a continuous field of faceted glass around the light sources. Each crystal is precision-cut with multiple faces, so light from the G9 bulbs refracts through the glass in different directions depending on viewing angle.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Kos provides both ambient light through the crystal diffusion and decorative presence through the reflective column. The drop is adjustable between 550mm minimum and 1500mm maximum on installation, allowing the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above a worktop or dining surface depending on ceiling height. The 200mm diameter gives the pendant a slender profile that works over narrower tables or in multiples along a kitchen island without dominating the space.

The polished chrome finish on the canopy, suspension cable housing and internal frame provides a cool metallic contrast to the clear crystal and suits contemporary, industrial and cooler-toned interiors. The octagon-cut crystals produce sharper, more geometric reflections than round or teardrop crystal cuts, giving the Kos a harder-edged character compared to traditional chandelier styles. At 2.5kg, the pendant requires a ceiling rose rated for the combined weight and secure fixing into solid ceiling structure or joist positions.

What bulbs does the Kos take?

The pendant takes four G9 capsule bulbs, maximum 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED capsules between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm white light, or 4000K for cooler white depending on room tone.

Is the Kos dimmable?

Yes, if you fit dimmable G9 LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch. The pendant itself has no internal dimming mechanism — dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs you choose.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 550mm minimum drop works in rooms with 2.4m ceilings if the pendant is positioned away from head height zones. For dining tables or kitchen islands, a 700-900mm gap between the pendant base and the surface is typical, which requires ceiling heights of 2.6m or above when accounting for the 200mm pendant body itself.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal strand gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or using chemical sprays which can leave residue on the faceted glass.
