Description

The Knot is a 600mm square semi-flush ceiling light built around four looping arms that curl outward from a central silver mounting plate, each loop housing integrated LED strips behind frosted white acrylic. The combined 40W LED output at 3000K delivers 2800 lumens of warm white ambient light diffused through the acrylic, casting soft overlapping layers across the ceiling and walls.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and wide hallways with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, the 100mm projection keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while the 600mm width provides enough visual presence to anchor a 4m x 4m room. The looping geometry creates different silhouettes depending on viewing angle, giving the fitting architectural interest without the vertical drop of a pendant. The silver finish on the mounting plate and polished chrome accents on the loop connectors reflect ambient daylight, while the frosted acrylic conceals the LED strips and softens the output.

The four loops are formed from rigid acrylic with integrated LED strips running the length of each curve, pre-wired to a single driver housed in the mounting plate. The 120° beam angle from each LED spreads light evenly along the loop, avoiding hotspots or visible diode points. The silver and chrome finishes pair with contemporary furniture, concrete, glass and neutral-toned walls, while the warm 3000K temperature softens the metallic palette. The 2.2kg weight requires a secure ceiling fixing into a joist or toggle-secured plasterboard anchor.
