Description

The Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker cap pre-printed with 'MICROWAVE' in white text on an anthracite ABS finish. The cover clips onto Knightsbridge grid rocker modules, replacing the blank cover that comes fitted as standard, to identify which appliance a particular switch controls.

Designed for use in kitchens where multiple appliances are controlled from a single grid plate above the worktop, the pre-printed cover removes ambiguity about which rocker operates which appliance. The anthracite finish is a dark grey-black tone that pairs with matt black and graphite modular wiring accessories. The 16mm width matches standard Knightsbridge grid rocker modules.

The cover is made from ABS plastic with a steel mounting clip and carries an IP20 rating for indoor use. Installation involves removing the existing blank rocker cap from the grid module and clipping the printed cover into place — no re-wiring or tooling is required once the grid module is already installed in the wall.

This cover fits Knightsbridge grid rocker modules with a 16mm width. It clips onto the rocker mechanism, replacing the blank cover supplied with the module. It does not fit standard single or multi-gang switches — only grid system components.

Can the cover be removed and re-fitted?

Yes. The cover clips onto the rocker and can be removed by gently prising it off with a flat-head screwdriver or similar tool, then re-clipped onto a different rocker if the appliance layout changes.
