Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker face pre-printed with the word 'FRIDGE' in white text on an anthracite background. The cover clips onto a standard grid rocker switch mechanism, replacing the blank rocker supplied with the original switch. Once fitted, the label identifies which switch controls the fridge circuit, reducing the risk of accidentally switching off refrigeration when resetting other kitchen appliances.

Designed for use in residential and commercial kitchens, the cover fits any Knightsbridge grid rocker switch module (sold separately) within a grid plate system. Grid systems allow multiple switch and socket modules to be combined in a single faceplate, typically grouped near worktops or behind appliances. The pre-printed designation removes the need for handwritten labels or adhesive stickers that peel or fade over time.

The anthracite finish is a dark grey-black that pairs with matt black, graphite and slate-toned grid plates. The rocker is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel spring mechanism inside, giving a tactile click when pressed. The white text remains legible under kitchen lighting and does not rub off with repeated use. At 33mm high and 16mm wide, the rocker matches the standard grid module size used across the Knightsbridge range.

What switch does this cover fit?

The cover fits any Knightsbridge grid rocker switch module. It does not fit standard single or double switches — only grid system modules designed to accept interchangeable rocker faces.

How is the cover replaced?

Remove the grid plate from the wall, then gently prise the existing rocker off the switch mechanism using a small flathead screwdriver. Clip the new rocker onto the mechanism, ensuring it engages fully on both sides, then refit the plate.
