Description

The Knightsbridge FLN20 is a 20W LED floodlight with an IP65-rated die-cast aluminium body and a clear polycarbonate front diffuser. The integrated LED delivers 2240lm at 4000K cool white, with a 100° beam angle that provides wide-area illumination for driveways, patios, building facades and security applications. The fitting is supplied with a fast-fix cable connector that allows mains cable to be terminated directly inside the unit without needing an external junction box.

Designed for outdoor wall or ground mounting, the floodlight includes an adjustable bracket that tilts the head to direct light where it's needed. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making the fitting suitable for year-round outdoor exposure in UK weather. Optional PIR or microwave sensors (sold separately) can be added to the unit, converting it to motion-activated security lighting without additional wiring.

The die-cast aluminium construction provides structural rigidity and heat dissipation for the LED module, while the black powder-coated finish resists corrosion and UV degradation. At 135mm wide and 129mm tall, the compact profile sits neatly on garage walls, beside doorways and on boundary walls without dominating the mounting surface. The 137lm/W efficacy and 30,000-hour L70B50 lifespan reduce both energy costs and replacement frequency compared to halogen equivalents.

Yes. Knightsbridge offers optional PIR and microwave sensors as separate accessories that connect directly to the FLN20 without needing additional wiring or junction boxes. The sensors convert the floodlight to motion-activated operation for security and energy-saving applications.

What is the IP65 rating?

IP65 means the fitting is dust-tight (IP6X) and protected against water jets from any direction (IPX5). This makes it suitable for fully exposed outdoor installation including walls, eaves, patios and driveways where it will face rain, wind-driven moisture and temperature variation.

How is the cable connected?

The floodlight is supplied with a fast-fix cable connector inside the body, allowing mains cable to be terminated directly within the unit.
