Description

The Knightsbridge 12-gang screwless grid faceplate provides twelve individual module apertures behind a brushed chrome steel cover plate measuring 208mm x 148mm. The plate accepts standard euro module inserts, allowing any combination of USB sockets, HDMI connections, data ports, TV aerial sockets, telephone sockets and blank modules to be configured within a single wall plate.

Designed for home cinema walls, office workstations, smart home control panels and AV distribution points, the 12-gang capacity supports complex installations where multiple connection types need to be grouped in one location. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate steel mounting frame fixed to the back box, hiding all fixings behind the faceplate for a flush finish once installed. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments.

The brushed chrome finish on premium-grade steel gives a low-sheen metallic surface that resists fingerprints better than polished chrome and pairs with both contemporary and traditional interiors. The plate sits 10mm proud of the wall once fitted. Each module aperture accepts a single euro-format insert, and Knightsbridge produces a wide range of compatible modules in matching finishes across their grid system. What euro modules fit this faceplate?

The plate accepts any standard euro-format grid module measuring 25mm x 50mm per single aperture. Knightsbridge manufactures a full range of compatible modules including USB sockets, HDMI, CAT5e/CAT6 data, satellite, TV aerial, telephone, audio and blank plates in matching brushed chrome finish.

What back box depth is required?

A 35mm minimum back box depth is recommended for most euro module combinations. Some modules with deeper terminals may require a 47mm back box. Check individual module specifications before ordering the back box.

Is the screwless plate removable after installation?

Yes. The brushed chrome cover plate clips onto a separate steel mounting frame that is screwed to the back box. The cover can be unclipped for module changes, redecorating or maintenance without disturbing the back box wiring.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating limits this faceplate to dry indoor areas outside bathroom zones. For damp or wet locations, an IP-rated enclosure would be required around the installation.
