Description

The Knightsbridge 8-way DC splitter is a PVC junction block that connects up to eight individual LED strip lights to a single 12V or 24V DC power supply. Each of the eight outputs on the splitter feeds one LED strip, reducing the number of separate transformers needed and consolidating cable runs behind cabinetry, shelving or display units.

Designed for under-cabinet installations, shop displays and residential accent lighting where multiple LED strips run from a shared power source, the splitter measures 60mm long by 35mm high with a 10mm projection from the mounting surface. The compact footprint allows it to be concealed behind kickboards, inside cupboards or under worktops where access to the underside is limited. The PVC casing provides electrical insulation and protects the internal terminals from dust and accidental contact.

The splitter is compatible with Knightsbridge's flat and triangular profile LED strip lights, which typically draw between 2-6W per metre depending on LED density. The 12V/24V dual-voltage rating means the same splitter works across both low-voltage systems, though the input voltage must match the voltage rating of the LED strips being connected. All eight outputs share the same voltage and current supply, so the combined wattage of the connected strips must not exceed the output capacity of the connected power supply.

Does the splitter work with both 12V and 24V systems?
