Description

The Knightsbridge FLN10 is a 10W LED floodlight housed in a die-cast aluminium body with an IP65 rating, designed for outdoor wall and ground mounting where weatherproof task lighting is needed. The integrated LED delivers 1085lm of 4000K cool white light through a clear polycarbonate lens with a 100° beam angle, providing wide coverage for driveways, building facades, garden paths and security applications.

The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making the floodlight suitable for exterior installation in typical UK weather conditions. The die-cast aluminium construction provides structural durability and heat dissipation for the LED, while the black finish reduces visible fingerprints and blends with most building exteriors. The included adjustable bracket allows the light to be angled after mounting, directing the beam where needed.

A fast-fix cable connector is integrated into the rear of the unit, allowing mains cable to be terminated directly inside the floodlight body without an external junction box or additional connectors. This simplifies installation and reduces the number of external connection points exposed to weather. The floodlight accepts optional PIR or microwave sensor accessories (sold separately) which retrofit to the existing mounting bracket, adding motion detection without needing to replace the entire fitting.

The compact 95mm x 104mm x 138mm profile suits tight mounting spaces where a full-sized floodlight would overwhelm the area. The 30,000-hour L70B50 rating indicates the LED will maintain at least 70% of its initial light output after 30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to approximately 10 years of use at 8 hours per day.

Can this be used in gardens and on driveways?

Yes. The IP65 rating protects against dust and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for outdoor installation in UK weather. It handles rain and typical outdoor conditions but should not be submerged or subjected to high-pressure washing.

Is a PIR sensor included?

No. The floodlight operates as a standard mains-switched LED by default. Optional PIR or microwave sensor accessories are available separately from Knightsbridge and retrofit to the existing mounting bracket without replacing the entire fitting.

How is the cable connected?

A fast-fix cable connector is integrated into the rear of the unit. Mains cable terminates directly inside the floodlight body, eliminating the need for an external junction box or additional connectors exposed to weather.

What area does it cover?

The 100° beam angle and 1085lm output provide wide coverage suitable for driveways, building facades, garden paths and security lighting. At typical mounting heights of 2-3m, the light covers an area approximately 4-6m wide.
