Kecci Etched Glass Baubles - Antique Pink - Set of 4

Four glass baubles, each 8cm across, in a pale antique pink with a warm, almost peach cast to it. The surface is matt rather than glossy and it is etched all over: vertical bands run from the cap down to the base of the sphere, alternating between a column of large round dots, each one ringed like a bead, and a band of fine stippling and small scattered marks. A fluted metal collar sits over the neck of each one with a ring above it, and every bauble hangs from a soft peach ribbon knotted through that ring.

At 8cm these are full sized tree baubles, and four will dress a wreath, a garland or a run along a mantel as well as a tree. All four hang from a bare branch spaced apart rather than clustered. The finish is matt rather than mirrored, so they hold light softly instead of throwing a hard reflection and read much the same from any angle.

The spheres are recycled glass, and the pattern is etched into each one by hand, so the bands do not line up identically from bauble to bauble and the depth of the pink varies across a set. Kecci also comes as a set of three in antique champagne.

Is the pattern printed on?

No. It is etched into the glass by hand, so it has depth to it and no two spheres are marked in exactly the same way.

What do they hang from?

A soft peach ribbon knotted through the ring on the cap, one to each bauble.

How do I look after them?

A dry, soft cloth will take the dust off. Handle them with care, and keep harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners away from the etched finish. They are for indoor use only.
