Description

Our Karnarne is a three-light linear pendant: a long black steel ceiling bar with three slim black cables, each holding a round glass globe. The glass carries a vapourised copper-coloured finish that fades from a warm metallic copper at the top to clear at the base, so the bulb you fit shows softly through the lower half. Overall it measures 76.5cm long, 16.5cm wide and 110cm tall. Each globe takes an E27 bulb of up to 60W, and the bulbs are not included. Its IP20 rating means it is made for indoor, dry rooms.

A linear pendant earns its place over a long surface, and the natural home for this one is above a dining table, a kitchen island or a breakfast bar, where three globes in a row spread light along the length rather than gathering it in one spot. The black bar and cables keep the outline crisp against a pale ceiling, while the copper tone sits comfortably beside warm woods, mustard or tan upholstery and dark panelled walls. Because it is switched at the wall, there is no pull cord or inline switch to break the clean line; your existing light switch turns all three globes on and off together.

The body is steel with a black finish and the three shades are glass. Glass wipes clean with a soft, dry cloth, so a gentle dust now and then keeps the copper sheen bright. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains, and as a wired-in light it is installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions are available as a download, and the pendant weighs 2.699KG packed. Have three E27 bulbs of up to 60W each ready beforehand, so the light works from the first flick of the switch.
