Description

The Kara is a 555mm table lamp built around a hand-blown smoke glass sphere set on a polished nickel collar and topped with a 355mm-diameter faux silk drum shade. The blown glass base has a translucent grey tint that catches and diffuses light from the E27 bulb inside (sold separately), giving the lower half of the lamp a soft ambient glow when lit.

Designed for side tables, console tables and bedside use in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, the Kara provides both task and ambient lighting. The faux silk shade is hand-made in the UK with a textured weave that softens the upward and downward light throw, reducing glare while maintaining enough output for reading. The lamp accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 60W, allowing you to choose the colour temperature and brightness that suits the room.
