The Kamarne is a set of three recessed LED downlights, each with a round satin nickel trim 8.8cm across and a body of aluminium. The trim has a fine brushed finish that catches the light softly, and behind it sits a white housing held in place by spring clips. Each light has an integrated LED of 4.8W giving 450lm at 2700K, a warm white that suits living spaces in the evening. The rating is IP20, which settles where they belong: indoors, in dry rooms only, so they are not for bathrooms or outside.

Because the three come together, you can light a run of ceiling or the underside of wall cabinets in one go, with every trim matching. A kitchen with wall units is a natural home for them: set into the base of the cupboards, they throw light down onto the worktop where you chop and prepare food. They work just as well in a hallway, a living room or a bedroom ceiling, wherever you want a clean, low profile look with no hanging shade. The satin nickel sits comfortably beside brushed steel handles and grey or white cabinetry.
